Masks of Truth

"Masks of Truth" is the result of five months of creative work by one of the educational groups at Teatr Nowe Formy, led by actors and educators Maksym Shyshko and Mariya Petrovich. The dramatic material was created entirely from texts written by the students themselves.

The work comprises philosophical and personal reflections on themes such as freedom, truth, fear, love, adaptation in society, and relationships between parents and children. The actors' and creators' explorations led to a form that blends various genres and styles of stage presence - realism, formalism, grotesque, and provocation - with a non-linear plot and mosaic narrative structure.
