The Flea Trickster is one of the most beloved characters in children's literature - smallest in size, boundless in cunning. She pretended to be a princess, faked illness, claimed she sang in Italian. She licked cream from pastry tubes in a bakery, stole flowers from fabric in a shop, and without warning invited guests to a carnival ball at the home of a bewildered wasp.

Her schemes finally meet their match in well-deserved punishment - which ultimately leads her to reflection and a decision to change her ways. This stage adaptation of Jan Brzechwa's verse is a tale brimming with wordplay and situational humour, following the adventures of a heroine whose incorrigible behaviour may seem familiar to many.
