Osiem Dni Teatr / Antena / Maciej Gorczyński — Teatr Ósmego Dnia w Poznaniu, Poznań
Description was written before the event

Serhij Zhadan is one of the most important contemporary Ukrainian writers and poets, lifelong resident of Kharkiv and recognized as a successor to the Ukrainian avant-garde. In 2022, the Polish Academy of Sciences Committee on Literary Studies nominated him for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Since February 24, 2022, he has not left Kharkiv - his chronicle on social media made him a witness to war and a symbol of Ukrainian resistance.

The performance "Antena" brings selected poems from Zhadan's 2018 collection to the stage, translating them into the language of dance, physical theatre, and music. In an elegiac tone, it tells of the end of love, grief over the loss of a loved one, the fragility of life, and the creative force that allows one to overcome trauma.
