"The Suitcase" in Warsaw: Alexei Kortnev, Sam Treskunov, Alexei Agranovich and others

"The Suitcase" is based on Sergei Dovlatov's short-story collection of the same name. The protagonist emigrates to the United States with just one suitcase. When he opens it years later, he finds objects from his former life that stir up a range of memories - warm, and sometimes funny.

On stage, stories unfold about the events, feelings, and people who once filled his life. The production weaves nostalgia with humour, asking what remains of a person when all they have left is a single suitcase.
