The heroines of Joanna Szczepkowska's play are two women who would probably never have met if not for chance.
Marta and Alina find themselves in a hospital room designed for one person. Neither is willing to give way — each believes that the single room rightfully belongs to her. Condemned to each other's company, they try to survive until someone comes and decides for them. Differences in character and outlook lead to a series of amusing misunderstandings.
"Separatka" is a comedy that smuggles a piercing truth about reality beneath its light-hearted form. The production was created in collaboration with the Joanna Szczepkowska Foundation for Artistic and Social Initiatives.
