STEEL PANTHER | Warsaw
Progresja, Warsaw, Poland
Steel Panther draw the best from glam rock and heavy metal, amplified by absurd American humor, and are so authentic that it's hard to pass them by indifferently. The band will return to Poland on June 23 and perform at the Warsaw club Progresja alongside Lucie Sue.
Steel Panther have operated under their current name since 2008, but laid the groundwork for their work from the early 2000s. They gradually built popularity in Los Angeles playing covers of Van Halen and hair metal bands, until they eventually mastered the genre they love to perfection. They first demonstrated this with their debut album "Feel the Steel", which featured guest appearances by Corey Taylor (Slipknot & Stone Sour), Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), and Scott Ian (Anthrax). Subsequent albums like "Balls Out", "All You Can Eat", "Lower the Bar", "Heavy Metal Rules", and "On the Prowl", which currently closes their discography, only reinforced the conviction that Steel Panther is the most distinctive band at the intersection of glam rock and heavy metal today. The quartet enriches their hit-driven old-school blend with absurd American humor from the turn of the millennium, which is a guarantee of great live entertainment!
Lucie Sue is considered one of the greatest hopes of French rock. She debuted in 2023 with the album "To Sing in French", but it was "Battlestation", released last year, that gained attention from media worldwide. In her music, she combines 1990s alternative rock with elements of modern metal, all driven by incredible energy and sincerity. In the track "Ride the Wired Wild Tiger", Satchel, guitarist of Steel Panther, appears as a guest, and alongside him Lucie will conquer European stages in June.
