About

Steel Panther is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2000 (originally as Metal Shop, later Metal Skool) and rebranded under their current name in 2008. They built their reputation on a sharp parody of 1980s glam metal - tight musicianship wrapped in deliberately outrageous, comedic lyrics and over-the-top stage personas. Their 2009 major-label debut 'Feel the Steel' broke them internationally, and six studio albums later the band continues to headline clubs and festivals worldwide. Since 2022 the lineup is Michael Starr (vocals), Satchel (guitar), Stix Zadinia (drums) and Spyder (bass).
