Eclectic and exceptionally energetic Dub Pistols are returning to our country and will perform at Warsaw's Hydrozagadka!

Dub Pistols is the product of an explosion in the electronic music subgenre of big beat, which shook the British music scene in the mid-1990s. Following the example of such genre representatives as The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, and The Prodigy, the band's mastermind Barry Ashworth began producing beats together with Jason O'Bryan. Their first successes were the singles "There's Gonna Be a Riot" and "Best Got Better", which later appeared on their debut album "Point Black" from 1998. Their music, which blends ska, electronics, reggae, hip-hop, and dub, quickly gained significant interest, leading to performances alongside acts like Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Blink 182.

Over nearly 30 years of their career, Dub Pistols have released 9 studio albums. Their tracks have appeared not only on the charts but also in film soundtracks (Blade II, Piranha 3D) and video games (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2, NBA Live 08, and FIFA 99). This year, the band will once again prove they have no intention of slowing down — they have plans to release their tenth album and perform many concerts. Need a dose of positive energy?
