About: Mumiy Troll

Formed in 1983 in the Pacific port city of Vladivostok, Mumiy Troll broke through with the landmark album Morskaya and went on to define a generation of Russian rock - their frontman Ilya Lagutenko blending poetic lyrics with modern hooks in a style he calls "rockapops". The band now tours Europe and North America, bringing decades of hits to diaspora audiences far from home.
