Primus

Primus will perform on August 6 at the Letnia Scena Progresji in Warsaw. The band is led by Les Claypool - a bass virtuoso and the group's only permanent member - and plays deliberately unconventional and experimental music, blending art rock, funk, and heavy metal into a dense, hard-to-categorize whole.

The formation was founded in 1984 in California. After years of underground activity, they released the live album "Suck on This" (1989) and their studio debut "Frizzle Fry" (1990). The band's lineup changed many times over the years, and Primus gained a wider audience between their third and fourth albums - when their popularity also took on a cult dimension. The album "Sailing..." brought the group global recognition.
