A symphonic concert at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw takes place on 11 December 2026 at 19.30. Mikhail Pletnev conducts the National Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme featuring his own Suite for Cello and Orchestra and excerpts from Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty. Cellist Steven Isserlis performs as soloist. This is one of two Warsaw dates for the artist in Poland. The National Philharmonic, home to the National Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, is Poland's principal concert hall. The neoclassical building on Jasna Street, opened in 1955, hosts world-class musicians and orchestras.
