Poczekalnia

"Poczekalnia" is a musical performance by first-year students of the New Media Acting programme at the Warsaw Film School. Drawing on songs by Jacek Kaczmarski, Przemysław Gintrowski, Sztywny Pal Azji, Manama, and Lady Pank, the production reinterprets these classics through fresh arrangements that become the voice of a young generation. The students filter these texts through their own experiences and ask questions about the world in which they are growing up today.

The performance explores the boundary between youth and adulthood - dreams, uncertainty, rebellion, and hope. The students engage in dialogue with works that have spoken for decades about freedom, choice, and responsibility, seeking answers to their own questions within them.

The show takes place on 16 June at 18:30 at Kino Elektronik.
