The protagonist - a Draftsman - receives an unusual invitation from his old colleague Klaus Patery to take up residence in the Dream State. Caught up in a series of dreamlike events involving eccentric characters, he feels increasingly lost. The peace of the inhabitants is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious stranger, Hercules Bell. With his coming, a struggle for power and the future of this place begins.
The production is based on the novel "The Other Side" - the only book written by painter and surrealism pioneer Alfred Kubin.
