Death & Damnation Fest 2026 — Turbinenhalle, Oberhausen

Death & Damnation Fest returns in 2026 for its second edition - this time over two days: September 11 at Helvete and September 12 at Turbinenhalle, both in Oberhausen. A total of 11 acts from the death and black metal scene will perform.

Aran plays Lunar Aurora takes the first headliner slot - an exclusive German concert of the project with which co-founder Aran successfully revived the latest Lunar Aurora album 'A Hoagascht' in 2025. Rotting Christ presents an exclusive old-school set as the second headliner; the Greek band makes its festival debut. Also on the bill: Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult (DNS) with frontwoman Onielar and the Japanese project Sigh, active since 1989. Perchta from Tyrol and Horn - the solo project of Nerrath, arriving with a full band lineup and Daudswiärk - round out the Turbinenhalle programme. Day two opens with SRPNTS.

Day one at Helvete features an international club programme: Merrimack (France) and Totenwache (Germany) lead the evening, joined by Ensanguinate (Slovenia) and Decline of the I.

2-day tickets are strictly limited due to Helvete's restricted capacity. 1-day tickets for Turbinenhalle will be available soon. Beyond the stage, a festival supporting programme awaits.
