Sigh (サイ) is a Japanese avant-garde metal band from Tokyo, active since 1989/90, built around mainman Mirai Kawashima. Their debut Scorn Defeat (1993) was signed by Euronymous of Mayhem and became a cult black metal landmark; over thirteen studio albums they have pushed steadily into psychedelic, symphonic, progressive and jazz territory, making them one of the most genre-defying acts in extreme metal.
Sigh announced their first US tour in nearly 20 years, kicking off at Fire in the Mountains festival in July 2026 with support from Dreadnought.
