When the Cat's Away...

"When the Cat's Away..." is a British sitcom in which events can unfold at a dizzying pace at the most unexpected moment. A honeymoon in Saint Tropez - but on the twentieth anniversary of the wedding? Two English couples with twenty years of marriage behind them, mutual barbs, a bumbling husband trying to keep up with his lecherous brother-in-law, an affected wealthy sister, and a toilet brush bearing the likeness of the royal couple - the answers to the questions this story poses are often absurdly surprising.
