Jeremy Pelt Quintet: 50th Birthday Golden Jubilee Tour

In autumn 2026, American trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Jeremy Pelt embarks on a concert tour celebrating his 50th birthday - the Golden Jubilee Tour.

Pelt ranks among the most respected contemporary jazz trumpeters. He launched his career in the late 1990s and, after graduating from Berklee College of Music, relocated to New York, where he joined the Mingus Big Band. Over the following five years, DownBeat magazine and the Jazz Journalists Association awarded him the title "Rising Star on Trumpet," and in 2023, the Jazz Journalists Association honored him with the "Trumpeter of the Year" award. Legendary critic Nat Hentoff repeatedly championed him in The Wall Street Journal. Throughout his career, he has recorded and performed with Ravi Coltrane, Cedar Walton, Jimmy Heath, Lonnie Plaxico, Winard Harper, Charli Persip, Frank Wess, Nancy Wilson, and The Skatalites.

In 2021, Pelt made his debut as a writer with the series "Griot: Examining the Lives of Jazz's Great Storytellers" - four volumes have been published so far, featuring conversations with prominent jazz figures about racial and cultural identity, music history, and life philosophy. His latest album "Woven" was released in 2025 on HighNote Records.
