A Hilarious Escape, or Lumbago

Sally and Peter meet secretly for one night - just as Sally's husband, a passenger airline pilot, has just taken off. The lovers end up in the marital bed, but their plans quickly fall apart: Peter is paralyzed by a sudden spinal pain - lumbago. An attempt to warm his back in a hot bath ends with the lover getting stuck in the tub.

That's just the beginning of a cascade of unfortunate events. Uninvited guests start appearing in the apartment: a blind piano tuner, an unlicensed doctor, Sally's handsome husband, the mysterious Annabelle, and the determined Jocelyn. Each of them unwittingly plays their assigned role, and the entire situation drowns in misunderstandings and lies.
