Ennio Cominetti (Italy) will perform an organ recital as part of the XXXIII International Festival of Organ Music ORGANS OF THE ARCHCATHEDRAL.

Ennio Cominetti has performed approximately 3,000 concerts in cathedrals and concert halls across Europe, as well as in Asia, Africa, the USA, Canada, and South America. He has recorded 25 CDs for Italian and German record labels and produced recordings for radio and television. He is the founder of the orchestra "Orchestra Cameristica Lombarda" and the vocal ensemble "Soli Deo Gloria". Since 1998, he has served as director of the Department of Church Music and professor at the Academy of Arts in Rome. He has published a biography of M.E. Bossi and books including "Music at the Table" (recipes from great Italian musicians), "Rossini - The Brilliant Joker" and "Italian-Polish Musical Interweaving from Antiquity to the Present". He conducts music seminars and serves on the juries of organ competitions.

The instrument for this concert is a 60-voice mechanical organ built in 1987 by the German company Eule, located in the choir loft of the basilica.
