All of Shakespeare's Works (Barczak, Węgrzyński, Wodka) — Teatr Scena Współczesna, Warsaw

A slightly revised version of "All of Shakespeare's Works" directed by Włodzimierz Kaczkowski, performed for over 23 years. Three actors take the stage - Michał Barczak, Michał Węgrzyński, Kamil Wodka - embodying dozens of characters.

37 Shakespeare plays in 90 minutes. The programme includes a hip-hop "Othello", "Macbeth" in highland style, a three-minute "Hamlet" and "Romeo and Juliet" performed entirely by men. The audience is drawn into the action and constantly provoked by the actors into shared fun. The show mocks not so much Shakespeare himself as the clichés of mass culture that exploit his work.

This particular cast (Barczak, Węgrzyński, Wodka) performs very rarely ⭐ - we encourage viewers already familiar with other versions of the show to compare.
