DEA MATRONA | Warsaw

Dea Matrona is a duo blending classical rock, indie and pop. Mollie McGinn and Orláith Forsythe met at an Irish-language singing competition and soon spent their free time playing together on the streets of Belfast. They reached a wider audience with their cover of "Oh Well" from Fleetwood Mac's repertoire, and their single "Make You My Star" climbed to the top of the UK iTunes Rock Charts.

Their debut album "For Your Sins" (2024), released and produced in DIY spirit, topped the UK's best independent albums chart. The duo has performed at Glastonbury and The Royal Albert Hall, and supported Sting, Bryan Adams, Sheryl Crow and The Darkness.

In early March, Mollie and Orláith embark on a tour with their new album "Hate That I Care" - on 5 March they will play at Warsaw's Hydrozagadka.
