Between Your Naps

The starting point of this performance is the experience of a young couple after the birth of their child. At the heart of the story is a new mother trying to find herself amid exhaustion, intimacy, fear, and the loss of her former identity.

The subsequent scenes take the form of flickering images, fantasies, exaggerated anxieties, and darkly comic situations - revealing motherhood far removed from the cultural myth of a "natural calling".
