About the venue

The Stefan Żeromski Theatre in Kielce is the main dramatic theatre of the Świętokrzyskie region, named after the novelist born near Kielce. Its repertoire spans Polish classics, contemporary drama and productions for younger audiences. The current building dates from the post-war period, and the theatre has long been one of the leading stages in central Poland.
