Alex Isley (born April 16, 1987, Westwood, NJ) is an American singer-songwriter and producer working in R&B, neo-soul, and jazz. Daughter of Ernie Isley of the Isley Brothers, she was classically trained by her opera-singer grandmother and holds a jazz studies degree from UCLA. After building her reputation through a string of independent EPs and collaborative albums with producer Jack Dine and Terrace Martin, she earned two Grammy nominations at the 66th Grammy Awards for her feature on Robert Glasper's "Back to Love," and released her major-label debut When the City Sleeps (Free Lunch/Warner) in March 2026.
