About
Allah-Las are an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2008 by four friends who met while working at Amoeba Records. Their sound draws on 1960s psychedelic, garage and surf rock, and their 2012 self-titled debut earned them a devoted following in Europe and beyond. Over five studio albums - from Worship the Sun (2014) through to Zuma 85 (2023) - they have steadily expanded their palette, incorporating krautrock, art rock and kosmische influences without losing the hazy, sun-bleached feel that defines them.
