White Denim is an American rock band from Austin, Texas, active since 2006, led by singer-guitarist James Petralli. Their music draws on psychedelic rock, blues, funk, prog and dub, woven together with a restless, improvisational energy that makes each album sound like a different experiment. They are known for technically demanding live shows and a prolific output - thirteen studio albums in under twenty years, all on Bella Union.
