And So I Watch You From Afar (ASIWYFA) are a Northern Irish instrumental rock band from Belfast, active since 2005. Rooted in post-rock and math rock, they built their reputation through relentless touring across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, releasing seven studio albums along the way. Their self-titled 2009 debut is widely regarded as a landmark of the genre, and the band has continued to push their sound outward with each record - most recently on the orchestrally-tinged seventh album Megafauna (2024).
ASIWYFA announced a 20th-anniversary concert at Belfast's Ulster Hall on 19 December 2025, performing alongside the Ulster Orchestra.
The band released Megafauna, their seventh studio album, on 9 August 2024, earning 8/10 reviews from both Clash and Hot Press.
ASIWYFA performed at Pelagic Fest in Maastricht, Netherlands, in August 2024 as part of the label's 15th anniversary celebrations.
ASIWYFA performed a fan-voted special set at ArcTanGent Festival 2024 in Somerset, UK, marking the festival's 10th anniversary.
The lead single 'Do Mór' from Megafauna was released on 17 May 2024, ahead of the album announcement.
