Boys Noize is the stage name of Alexander Ridha, a German-Iraqi DJ and producer born in Hamburg in 1982, now based in Berlin. He founded Boysnoize Records in 2005 and built his reputation on a raw, high-energy blend of electro, techno and house. Beyond his solo work, he has collaborated with Skrillex (as the duo Dog Blood), earned a Grammy nomination for "Midnight Hour" with Skrillex and Ty Dolla $ign, and most recently formed the industrial-techno project Nine Inch Noize alongside Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
The collaborative album Nine Inch Noize, produced by Boys Noize with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, was released on April 17, 2026 via Null Corporation and Interscope Records.
Nine Inch Noize made its live debut at Coachella on April 11, 2026, with Mariqueen Maandig also providing vocals.
The Nine Inch Noize collaborative project was publicly announced on September 15, 2025, when the name appeared on the Coachella 2026 lineup poster.
Boys Noize launched a new label called ONES AND ZEROS with a 22-track compilation in early 2025.
Boys Noize was announced as the support act for all 63 dates of Nine Inch Nails' Peel It Back world tour, which ran from June 2025 to March 2026.
