About

Charlie Puth (born December 2, 1991, in Rumson, New Jersey) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer who first gained wide attention through his YouTube covers before breaking globally with Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" (2015). His albums Nine Track Mind (2016), Voicenotes (2018), and Charlie (2022) produced a string of multi-platinum hits, and his fourth album Whatever's Clever! followed in March 2026. Across his career he has accumulated over 35 billion streams, four Grammy nominations, and a reputation as one of pop's most technically gifted producers - a musician with perfect pitch who writes, records, and mixes much of his own material.
