German post-punk band Closterkeller performs in Wrocław. Concert at Stary Klasztor.
Closterkeller is a Polish gothic rock band founded in Warsaw in 1988, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the genre in Central and Eastern Europe. The group's sound spans gothic rock, cold wave, metal and electronic music, held together by the distinctive voice of frontwoman Anja Orthodox - the band's sole permanent member across more than three decades. Their studio albums are each named after a colour, from the debut Purple (1990) through to Argento (2025), their eleventh record. The 1995 album Scarlet went gold in Poland, selling over 100,000 copies.
