American metalcore band Converge performs in Karlsruhe.
Converge is an American metalcore band from Salem, Massachusetts, active since 1990, built around vocalist Jacob Bannon and guitarist/producer Kurt Ballou. Their 2001 album Jane Doe - ranked by Rolling Stone among the 61 greatest metal albums of all time - set the benchmark for the genre and cemented their reputation as one of hardcore's most uncompromising creative forces. The current four-piece lineup, completed by bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller, has remained stable for over two decades, releasing twelve studio albums and collaborating with artists such as Chelsea Wolfe.
Converge announced a 10-date UK and Europe headline tour for November 2026, starting in Munich on November 12 and ending in London on November 22, in support of their two 2026 albums.
