Die Happy is a German alternative rock band from Ulm, active since 1993. The group was co-founded by Czech singer Marta Jandová - daughter of legendary Czech rock musician Petr Janda - and guitarist Thorsten Mewes, and has built a loyal following across Germany and Europe through relentless touring and over ten studio albums. Their songs are written and performed almost exclusively in English, which has helped them reach audiences well beyond their home country. The tenth studio album, Empathy Is No Weakness, is set for release in spring 2027.
