About

Don West is a Sydney-based soul singer-songwriter who calls his sound 'coastal soul' - a warm, analogue-recorded blend of classic 60s/70s soul and contemporary R&B, shaped by the influence of Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield. He started out as a bassist in his brother's band Sons of the East before teaming up with producer Kesmar and launching a solo career. His debut EP (November 2024) and debut album Give Me All Your Love (November 2025, ARIA chart #25) turned him into one of the most talked-about new voices in the global soul revival. West is also signed to IMG Models and, as of December 2025, to music publisher Kobalt.
