About

Curtis Harding is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Saginaw, Michigan, who grew up in Atlanta after a nomadic childhood spent performing gospel alongside his mother. His self-coined "slop 'n' soul" style draws on gospel, blues, psychedelia and hip-hop, and his 2017 album Face Your Fear - co-produced by Danger Mouse - broke him internationally, landing on NPR's best R&B albums list and sending him on tour with Jack White and Lenny Kravitz. In September 2025 he released his fourth album, Departures & Arrivals: Adventures of Captain Curt, a self-produced concept record about a pilot lost in space, recorded live with a full band in Austin.
