5 JAHRE Fridas Pier - DAY 02
Second day of Fridas Pier's fifth anniversary celebration in Stuttgart, featuring an international lineup of electronic music artists.
Gregor Tresher is a Frankfurt-born DJ and producer who has been shaping the techno and tech-house scene since the early 1990s. His 2008 track "A Thousand Nights" became the year's best-selling techno release on Beatport, and he has since put out records on Cocoon, Drumcode, Ovum, and his own Break New Soil imprint. Known for layered grooves and a strong melodic sensibility, he has also co-produced Sven Väth's first solo album in nearly 20 years, Catharsis (2022), and revived his Sniper Mode alias with the electro LP Riot Gear in late 2025.
Tresher released the Concrete Echoes EP on Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint - his debut on that label - on April 10, 2026.
Magnetic Magazine published an interview with Tresher in April 2026 in which he discussed his philosophy of keeping techno forward-looking rather than nostalgic.
Tresher released Riot Gear, an 11-track electro album on Turbo Recordings under his revived Sniper Mode alias, on November 28, 2025.
Tresher released the single Sleeping Giants on his own Break New Soil Recordings in January 2026, followed by an Enrico Sangiuliano remix.
Tresher and Sven Väth released the collaborative EP Flashback on Turbo Recordings in May 2024, marking both artists' debut on that label.
