About

Haken are an English progressive metal band formed in London in 2007 by multi-instrumentalist Richard Henshall, guitarist Matthew Marshall, and vocalist Ross Jennings. Over seven studio albums - from the debut Aquarius (2010) through to Fauna (2023) - they built a devoted global following with complex, long-form compositions that draw on prog rock, djent, and art rock. Signed to InsideOut Music since 2013, they are widely regarded as one of the leading acts in contemporary progressive metal.
