Juanes (born Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez, 9 August 1972, Medellín, Colombia) is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who built his career on a fusion of Latin rock, cumbia and Colombian folk. Since his solo debut Fíjate Bien (2000) he has sold over 15 million records worldwide and collected 29 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards - a record for a solo artist - making him one of the best-selling Latin music acts of all time. Billboard named him the top Latin rock/pop artist of the 21st century, and he is also known for his humanitarian work, including the Mi Sangre Foundation supporting landmine victims in Colombia.
Juanes released his 12th studio album JuanesTeban on 6 March 2026 via Universal Music Latino, a 16-track concept album co-produced with Nico Cotton exploring the duality between his public persona and private self.
Juanes announced the Juanes World Tour 2026 with over 50 global dates, including stops in Europe, Latin America and a 29-show North American leg starting 3 September in Orlando.
Juanes received the Premio Lo Nuestro Lifetime Achievement Award on 19 February 2026 during Univision's annual music award show.
Juanes performed at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival on 25 February 2026, and his 1 March Madrid show at Movistar Arena sold out in advance.
In December 2025, Juanes released the single 'Muérdeme' in collaboration with Colombian band Bomba Estéreo, previewing the JuanesTeban album.
