Katherine Priddy is an English folk singer-songwriter from Birmingham, born in 1994, whose fingerpicked guitar style and quietly haunting voice draw comparisons to Nick Drake and John Martyn. Her debut album The Eternal Rocks Beneath (2021) and its follow-up The Pendulum Swing (2024) both reached No. 1 in the UK Folk Charts, earning five-star reviews and praise from Richard Thompson, Guy Garvey and Iggy Pop. In 2026 she released her third album These Frightening Machines, produced by Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi), marking a bolder, more sonically expansive chapter in her work.
