Kraan

About

Kraan is a German jazz-rock band from Ulm, formed in 1970 by bassist Hellmut Hattler, guitarist Peter Wolbrandt and drummer Jan Fride. Starting out as one of the key acts in the krautrock scene, they gradually shifted toward jazz fusion, blending rock, jazz and funk into a sound that remained distinctly their own across more than five decades. After disbanding in the early 1980s and a brief late-1980s comeback, they reunited for good in 2000 and have been recording and touring ever since.
