Magda (born Magdalena Chojnacka in Żywiec, Poland) is a DJ and producer who grew up in Detroit and has been based in Berlin since 2003. She built her name through Richie Hawtin's M_nus label and later co-founded the imprint Items & Things with Marc Houle and Troy Pierce. Over three decades of performing she has become one of the defining voices in minimal techno, known for marathon sets that hold dancefloors for hours.
