Richie Hawtin is a Canadian DJ and producer who helped shape minimal techno through his Plastikman project and the Minus label he founded. Rooted in the Detroit techno scene, he later became a central figure in Berlin's club culture. He is also known for pushing the boundaries of DJ technology, particularly through his use of digital mixing tools.
