Michael Holm (born Lothar Bernhard Walter on 29 July 1943 in Stettin, now Szczecin) is a German Schlager singer, songwriter, and record producer whose career spans more than six decades. His 1969 cover of "Mendocino" became the best-selling single in Germany that year, shifting over a million copies and earning him a gold record. Beyond performing, he wrote hits for other artists - most notably Rex Gildo's "Fiesta Mexicana" - and co-founded the Grammy-nominated new-age project Cusco with Kristian Schultze.
