Oysterband is an English folk rock and folk punk band from Canterbury, Kent, active since 1976. Over nearly five decades they built a reputation as one of the UK's most electrifying live acts, fusing traditional English folk with punk energy and sharp political songwriting. They won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Band twice and released their final studio album, Read The Sky, in 2021.
