About
Shakey Graves is the stage name of Alejandro Rose-Garcia, a singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas, who performs as a one-man band - playing guitar while keeping rhythm on a suitcase kick drum. His sound draws on folk, blues, and country, and he built his following largely through DIY releases and word of mouth before breaking through with And the War Came (2014). In 2026 he released his fifth studio album, Fondness, Etc., a lo-fi, tape-recorded record shaped by marriage and fatherhood.
