Skraeckoedlan
Swedish band Skraeckoedlan performs at Vienna's Arena Wien.
Skraeckoedlan are a Swedish stoner and progressive rock band from Norrköping, active since 2009. Singing entirely in Swedish, they build concept albums around science fiction, Norse mythology and cosmic horror - a sound they call 'fuzz-science fiction rock'. Their fourth album, Vermillion Sky (2024, Fuzzorama Records), extended a run of critically praised records that includes the landmark concept album Sagor (2015) and the Lovecraftian Eorþe (2019).
Skraeckoedlan launched the '10 år av Sagor' anniversary tour across Sweden in March 2026, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album Sagor with a newly remastered vinyl edition.
The band was nominated for a Swedish Grammy in 2025 in the Hard Rock/Metal category.
A new album was announced as being in development for 2026, alongside the Sagor anniversary tour.
Skraeckoedlan released their fourth studio album, Vermillion Sky, on March 27, 2024 via Fuzzorama Records.
The Vermillion Sky album was accompanied by a multimedia expansion including a video game and an upcoming novel set in the album's story world.
