About

Snail Mail is the indie rock project of Lindsey Jordan (born June 16, 1999, Ellicott City, Maryland), who began performing live at 15 and released her debut EP Habit in 2016. Her first full-length, Lush (2018, Matador Records), earned widespread critical praise and established her as one of the most distinctive voices in American indie rock. A second album, Valentine (2021), followed, and in March 2026 she released Ricochet - her most expansive record yet, drawing on 1990s alt-rock and shoegaze while turning her gaze toward mortality, time, and loss.
