Sofia Kourtesis is a Peruvian-born, Berlin-based producer, DJ, and vocalist whose music weaves together house, techno, and Latin American textures with a distinctly personal, political edge. Born in Lima in 1985, she built her reputation through a string of EPs before her debut album Madres (Ninja Tune, 2023) earned widespread critical acclaim - landing on year-end lists at Pitchfork, NME, and Gorilla vs Bear. She has performed at Glastonbury, Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Primavera Sound, and in 2026 released her DJ-Kicks mix on !K7 Records.
