Soulburn is a Dutch blackened death metal band from Oldenzaal, active since 1996 and signed to Century Media Records. The group grew out of the ashes of Asphyx - guitarist Eric Daniels and drummer Bob Bagchus formed it during that band's first hiatus, channelling their obsession with Bathory and Venom into something rawer and darker. After a long dormancy, Soulburn returned in 2013 and has since released three albums, most recently Noa's D'ark (2020).
Soulburn performed at Mystic Festival 2025 in Gdańsk, Poland (June 4-7), one of Europe's major metal festivals.
Soulburn played the Eindhoven Metal Meeting in the Netherlands in December 2024.
Soulburn released their fourth studio album Noa's D'ark on November 13, 2020 via Century Media Records, to generally positive reviews.
