The Ghost Inside is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, formed in 2004 under the name A Dying Dream. The group - vocalist Jonathan Vigil, guitarists Zach Johnson and Chris Davis, and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk - built a devoted following through albums like Returners (2010), Dear Youth (2014) and the 2020 self-titled comeback record on Epitaph. Their story took a dramatic turn in November 2015 when a highway bus crash left several members with serious injuries; the band's return to stages and studios became one of the most talked-about comebacks in modern metalcore.
