About

Xavier Rudd (born 29 May 1978, Torquay, Victoria) is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who blends folk, roots, reggae and Indigenous Australian sounds into a singular live experience. Performing largely solo, he surrounds himself with didgeridoos, Weissenborn slide guitars, stomp boxes and live-looping rigs - playing them all at once. His tenth studio album Jan Juc Moon (2022) won an APRA Award for Most Performed Blues and Roots Work, and his song 'Stoney Creek' took first place in the Environmental Music Prize.
